We are pleased to inform you that the Panjab University, Chandigarh is going to conduct the common entrance test for B.Ed Session 2025-26.

B.Ed (2-Year) Regular Course

B.Ed. (2-Year) Course under Semester system (100 seats - 2 Units): Admission is done through a combined entrance test conducted by the State University (Punjab/Punjabi/Guru Nanak Dev University) during the month of July every year. The score obtained in the test is the criterion of merit. 15 percent of the seats are filled on an All India basis and 85 percent of seats are from the State pool. The reservation policy of the State is followed as per the rules.

B.Ed course is of 2 Years having 4 Semesters. Classes begin in the last week of August and will continue till the end of November. First-semester exams will be held in the month of December. Classes for 2nd semester will start in January and would continue till April. The examination for the 2nd Semester will be held in the month of May/June. The same pattern would be followed for the 3rd and 4th Semesters.

There will be Winter (December) break as notified by the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar

 Scholarships

Students belonging to the General/Schedule Caste/ OBC categories are eligible for various government scholarship schemes.

NOTE:- ONLY STUDENTS WITH FREESHIP CARDS CAN AVAIL POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP.

Eligibility Certificate

All the students who have done their graduation/post-graduation from a university other than Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar are required to produce an Eligibility Certificate from the Registration branch of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar at the time of admission.
