Eco-Club Awareness Tour to Village Khun-Khun
The Eco-Club of the college organized an Awareness Tour to Village Khun-Khun on 30 April 2026 with the active participation of B.Ed. Semester-II (2025–27) students under the guidance of Principal Dr. Jasmeet Sethi. The outreach activity aimed to spread awareness about environmental protection, public health, and sustainable living practices among the rural community.
During the visit, students interacted with villagers and created awareness regarding the harmful effects of stubble burning, flood safety measures, clean water practices, and sustainable farming through posters, slogans, and informative discussions. The students also visited the village school and encouraged children to adopt habits related to cleanliness, health, and environmental conservation.
The villagers appreciated the efforts of the students and actively participated in the awareness sessions. The activity helped students understand their social and environmental responsibilities beyond the classroom and inspired collective efforts towards building a cleaner, healthier, and eco-friendly society.
The awareness drive was efficiently coordinated by Ms. Isha Madaan with valuable support from Eco-Club Committee members Dr. Harmandeep Kaur, Mrs. Kirandeep Kaur, and Dr. Shekhar Kumar.
