Two-Day Capacity Building Workshop under NAPDDR (20–21 February 2026)

In alignment with national priorities and institutional responsibility, the College successfully organized a Two-Day Workshop on “Capacity Building of Professors” under the National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR) on 20–21 February 2026.

The programme was conducted under the broader framework of National Action Plan for Drug Demand Reduction (NAPDDR), an initiative of the Government of India aimed at addressing substance abuse through preventive education and institutional engagement.

The workshop focused on:

  • Strengthening the role of educators in combating drug abuse
  • Developing awareness strategies within educational institutions
  • Training faculty in counselling approaches and early identification of vulnerable students
  • Promoting preventive and intervention-based mechanisms
  • Encouraging value-based and life-skill-oriented education
