M.Ed Admission 2026-2027

Admissions in M.Ed. 2026 is OPEN now. Interested students can register online and may visit http://www.gnduadmissions.org/ or  https://online.gndu.ac.in/ (Admission portal) for online registration and all other details. 

 All interested students can apply from 08.05.2026 to 11.07.2026 through the university admission portal. 

M.Ed. Admission Counselling will start  on  22.07.2026 at the Department of Education at GNDU, Amritsar Campus.                                                                     

   M.Ed Admission 2026-2027 (Regular Course)

M.Ed. (2-Year) Course under Semester system (50 seats - 1 Unit): Admission is done by Guru Nanak Dev University during the month of July every year.  15 percent of the seats are filled on an All India basis and 85 percent of seats are from the State pool. The reservation policy of the State is followed as per the rules.

M.Ed course is of 2 Years having 4 Semesters. Classes begin in the first week of August and will continue till the end of November. First-semester exams will be held in the month of December. Classes for 2nd semester will start in January and would continue till April. The examination for the 2nd Semester will be held in the month of May/June. The same pattern would be followed for the 3rd and 4th Semesters.

There will be Summer (June) and Winter (December) breaks as notified by the Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar

 Scholarships

Students belonging to the General/Schedule Caste/OBC  categories are eligible for various government scholarship schemes.

NOTE:- ONLY STUDENTS WITH FREE SHIP CARDS CAN AVAIL POST MATRIC SCHOLARSHIP.

Eligibility Certificate

All the students who have done their graduation/post-graduation from a university other than Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar are required to produce an Eligibility Certificate from the Registration branch of Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar at the time of admission.
